Sprouts Farmers Market to add more than 400 stores to Uber Eats for grocery delivery
Sprouts Farmers Market Inc. (SFM) said Monday it's expanding its partnership with Uber Eats (UBER) and will add more than 400 stores to the grocery delivery platform. "Customers will be able to order thousands of fresh, natural and organic products from Sprouts by simply visiting the Uber Eats mobile app or website, where they can choose to have their groceries delivered on-demand or schedule a delivery for later in the day or week," the company said in a statement. The program will roll out this month, starting with more than 40 location currently available in Florida and expanding to all Sprouts locations by the end of the year. From Dec. 11 to Jan. 31, customers can get 50% off their first Sprouts delivery orders of $50 or more using the code: SPROUTS50. The stock has gained 42% in the year to date, while the S&P 500 has gained 20%.
