KBR Wyle Gets NASA Contract for Safety and Mission Assurance Services
By Stephen Nakrosis
The National Aeronautics and Space Agency on Monday said it awarded a contract to KBR Wyle Services for the provision of safety and mission assurance services to the agency.
The Safety and Mission Assurance, Audits, Assessments and Analysis Services contract has a maximum potential value of about $75.3 million, NASA said. The contact has a three-year base performance period and includes a two-year option.
The contract will see KBR Wyle provide audit/assessment/analysis support, safety assessments and hazard analysis, reliability and maintainability analysis, and information systems support, among other services, NASA said.
Last year, KBR Wyle received at least three contracts with NASA, the largest of which was an up to $1.9 billion award to continue to support the agency's human spaceflight programs for up to nine years.
