Firm veteran Noriko Chen will depart American Funds Europacific Growth’s management team on Nov. 1, 2024, bringing the total number of named managers to 11. She will remain at the firm. Chen had only been on the strategy for four and a half years and ran roughly 3% of assets. Her departure doesn’t alter the strategy’s Morningstar Medalist Ratings across its 19 share classes, depending on fees.
