Airbus Earnings: No Big News Since Last Month's Warning on Jet Capacity; Valuation Up About 1%

Wide-moat Airbus reported its midyear 2024 results, having delivered 323 commercial planes so far this year, 42% of its new 2024 goal of around 770 jets and 5% ahead of this time last year. Revenue and profits came in lower in commercial jets and the space divisions for reasons cited in last month's profit warning by the company, and our full-year forecast, which calls for 768 jet deliveries, has barely changed other than to reconcile the charge in space. With the time value of money, we raised our fair value estimates from EUR 163 to EUR 164 per share and from $43.8 to $44 per US depository share.
