SEI Earnings: Mixed Trends, Maintaining Our Fair Value Estimate of $70

SEI Investments reported a mixed second quarter. SEI continues to see progress in expanding its private banks segment operating margin, which has been an issue for many years. The trends of strong results in the investment managers segment and softness in the institutional investors segment continues. We will maintain our narrow moat rating and $70 fair value estimate on the firm’s shares.
