Pure Storage rises in premarket trades ahead of inclusion in S&P MidCap 400
Pure Storage Inc.'s stock (PSTG) was up 6.4% in premarket trading Wednesday after S&P Dow Jones Indices said the company will replace Patterson Companies Inc. (PDCO) in the S&P MidCap 400. Patterson Companies will be included in the S&P SmallCap 600 to replace Chico's FAS Inc. (CHS) , which is being acquired by Sycamore Partners. All the changes will take place prior to trading on Friday. Patterson Companies' stock rose by 1.6% in premarket trading.
