Atlas Copco Names Koen Lauwers Head of Vacuum Technique Business

STOCKHOLM--Atlas Copco appointed Koen Lauwers as head of its vacuum technique business and member of group management, effective Jan. 1, 2025.
The Swedish industrial tool maker said Monday that Lauwers has been at the company since 1997 and is currently head of the company's semiconductor division within vacuum technique. He replaces Geert Follens who previously announced he would retire at the end of 2024.
The vacuum technique business had revenue of 42.8 billion Swedish kronor ($4.21 billion) in 2023 and employs around 12,600 people.
