Samsung Plans to Slash Global Staff by Up to 30% in Some Divisions, Reuters Reports
--Samsung Electronics plans to cut global employees at some divisions, including reducing sales and marketing staff numbers by about 15% and administrative staff by up to 30%, Reuters reports, citing sources.
--The plan to cut jobs will be implemented by the end of 2024 and would affect jobs across the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa, Reuters reports.
--Samsung didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from Dow Jones Newswires.
