Inpost Shares Rise on Higher Revenue, Net Profit and Volumes

Inpost shares rose after the company said revenue, net profit and volumes rose in the second quarter, and that volumes continued to grow in the third quarter.

Shares at 0750 GMT were up 8.4% at 17.36 euros.

The e-commerce logistics company said Friday that revenue was 2.62 billion Polish zloty ($679.7 million) compared with 2.13 billion zloty the year before. The company said its performance was particularly robust in Poland and the U.K., which is its fastest-growing market.

Net profit rose to 336.4 million zloty from 128 million zloty.

The company said year-on-year parcel volumes rose 23% to 264.4 million.

Inpost said in the third quarter it continues to see volume growth of around 20% at group level, with Poland's volume growing in the mid to high teens. It added that it expects revenue in the period to exceed the volume growth rate by a low to mid-single digit.
