By Sabela Ojea
London Stock Exchange Group and Dow Jones have signed a new multi-year data, news and analytics partnership.
Through the agreement, news from Dow Jones's global newsrooms and news brands including The Wall Street Journal, Dow Jones Newswires and Barron's, will be available within LSEG Workspace beginning Tuesday.
At the same time, LSEG will supply Dow Jones's editorial operations with its workspace to support a data-driven newsroom, becoming a main source of data for news.
The companies will also co-develop a platform curated by Dow Jones senior editors that will showcase the top stories from Dow Jones' brands.
Set to launch in early 2025, LSEG will be Dow Jones's inaugural partner using this new subscription proposition customized for enterprise clients, the companies said.
The companies didn't disclose financial details of the deal.
News Corp is the parent company of Dow Jones & Co., publisher of The Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones Newswires.
