CGI Selected to Help FBI Modernize IT Systems
By Robb M. Stewart
CGI has been picked to help modernize the Federal Bureau of Investigation's information technology systems in an effort to lower costs and increase project success.
The IT and business consulting services company's selection as a technology partner allows it to bid on task orders under the FBI Information Technology Supplies and Support Services 2nd Generation Blanket Purchase Agreement, which carries a ceiling value of $8 billion.
Under the new agreement, CGI through its CGI Federal subsidiary in the U.S. will provide business consulting services, systems integration and managed IT services to the FBI.
