Santander, Amazon in Talks Over Consumer Finance Partnership in Europe, Bloomberg Reports
-- Spanish lender Santander and tech giant Amazon are in advanced talks regarding a European partnership for consumer finance, Bloomberg reports, citing unnamed sources.
-- The partnership would first be rolled out in Germany before being extended to other European countries, Bloomberg reports.
-- The deal would bring in more revenue than the partnership Santander announced last week with Apple, Bloomberg reports. Santander's financing platform Zinia became the provider of consumer finance services for Apple in Germany, the lender said on June 10.
-- Santander declined to comment when contacted by Dow Jones Newswires while Amazon didn't immediately respond.
