By Colin Kellaher
PayPal Holdings on Thursday said Archie Deskus, executive vice president and chief technology officer, is leaving the payments company to pursue other interests.
The San Jose, Calif., company said Srini Venkatesan, who most recently led Walmart's U.S. omni platforms and tech organization, will join as chief technology officer, effective June 24.
Deskus joined PayPal as chief information officer in March 2022 and succeeded Sri Shivananda as chief technology officer last November.
