Partners Group Closes Direct Private Equity Program Ahead of $15 Billion Target
By Elena Vardon
Partners Group Holding said that it has closed a direct private equity program with client commitments of over $15 billion, ahead of its target.
The Swiss private-equity firm said Tuesday that the program was made up of commitments to Partners Group Direct Equity V--its fifth direct private equity fund--and to client solutions and open-ended funds which allocate to the same strategy.
Investors in the program are a mix of new and existing clients, it added. At closing, the program was committed to companies including Swiss watchmaker Breitling, North American personal safety gear supplier SureWerx and provider of inspection services for energy infrastructure assets Rosen Group, it said.
