Trending: Berkshire Hathaway Discloses Chubb as Its Latest Investment
14:17 ET -- Berkshire Hathaway is one of the most mentioned companies in the U.S. across all news items in the past 12 hours, according to Factiva data. Warren Buffett's holding company made public the state of its investment portfolio and disclosed a stake in property-casualty insurer Chubb. Berkshire revealed it owned 25.9 million shares in Chubb at the end of March, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing released after the market close on Wednesday. The investment was worth $6.72 billion. This gives Berkshire ownership of 6.4% of Chubb, according to Dow Jones Market Data. Berkshire's filing also showed that it sold off positions in HP in the first quarter and cut its stake in Apple by more than 116 million shares, or nearly 13%. Dow Jones & Co. owns Factiva.
