Diageo's Lavanya Chandrashekar to Step Down, Nik Jhangiani Named CFO
By Ian Walker
Diageo said that Lavanya Chandrashekar is stepping down as chief financial officer after three years in the role to return to the U.S., and will be replaced by Coca-Cola Europacific Partners' Nik Jhangiani.
The London-based maker of Johnnie Walker Scotch whisky, Guinness stout and Smirnoff vodka said on Friday that Chandrashekar--who has been with the company for six years--will step down in autumn.
Separately Coca-Cola Europacific confirmed that Jhangiani would be stepping down to join Diageo and that the search for his replacement was well underway.
