Traton Extends Contract of MAN Truck CEO Alexander Vlaskamp
By David Sachs
Traton Group brand MAN Truck & Bus extended the contract of Chief Executive Officer Alexander Vlaskamp by five years, the German commercial-vehicle maker said Monday.
Vlaskamp will received a five-year extension from the supervisory board until November 2029, said Traton, a Volkswagen subsidiary. He has headed the MAN division since the end of 2021, the company said.
"Alexander Vlaskamp and his team have done an impressive job in turning MAN around and getting the brand back on track for success," said Christian Levin, Traton's chief executive.
