L'Oreal Enters Into Beauty License Agreement With Prada's Miu Miu
By Adria Calatayud
L'Oreal and Prada have signed a worldwide long-term license agreement for the development and distribution of beauty products for the Miu Miu brand.
The French cosmetics giant and the Italian luxury-fashion house said Friday that they expect to launch the first fragrances under L'Oreal next year. The agreement will be effective after the parties receive customary regulatory approvals, if any, they said.
Financial details weren't disclosed.
L'Oreal said the Miu Miu license will complement the portfolio of its Luxe division. For Miu Miu, the partnership with L'Oreal will seek to use the brand's potential in the beauty category, Miu Miu Chief Executive Benedetta Petruzzo said.
