Standard Chartered Mulls Candidates for New Chair, FT Reports
--Standard Chartered is looking at a number of candidates to be its next chair when Jose Vinals steps down, including Charles Roxburgh and U.K. Parliament member Sajid Javid, the FT reports, citing unnamed sources.
--The FT says that Roxburgh is a favorite for the role.
--Vinals became chairman in December 2016 and is approaching the nine-year limit for independent directors.
--Standard Chartered didn't immediately respond when approached by Dow Jones Newswires for comment.
