Sprouts Partners with Uber for Grocery Delivery
By Dean Seal
Sprouts Farmers Market has partnered with Uber Technologies to have its grocery offerings made available on Uber Eats.
The supermarket chain said Monday that it will add more than 400 stores to the Uber Eats platform for grocery delivery nationwide.
The rollout of Sprouts on Uber Eats will happen in phases this month, starting with more than 40 locations becoming available in Florida and more coming online by the end of the year.
To celebrate the new partnership, customers will receive 50% off their first Sprouts delivery orders of $50 or more using a special promotional code. The promotion runs through Jan. 31.
All Sprouts stores will be available to Uber One subscribers, which provides for no-fee delivery ordering and 5% off all eligible orders over $35.
