Partners Group to Sell Civica to Blackstone
By Adria Calatayud
Switzerland's Partners Group Holding has agreed to sell U.K. software developer Civica to Blackstone, the U.S. firm's latest bet in the U.K.
The Wall Street Journal on Tuesday reported, citing people familiar with the matter, that Blackstone was in advanced talks to buy Civica for close to $2.5 billion including debt.
Partners Group acquired Civica in 2017 and has turned it into a software-focused company, pivoting away from its previous services such as IT management, the Swiss investment company said Wednesday.
