Disney Names Tinisha Agramonte as Chief Diversity Officer
By Stephen Nakrosis
Walt Disney Co. named Tinisha Agramonte as senior vice president and chief diversity officer.
She succeeds Latondra Newton, who left the post in June.
Agramonte joined the company a year ago as vice president of diversity, equity and inclusion talent outreach and development with Disney Parks, Experiences & Products, the company said. Prior to that, Agramonte was chief diversity officer at Motorola Solutions.
Agramonte also held senior positions with the federal government, serving as chief diversity officer and director for the Office of Civil Rights in the Department of Commerce, along with other positions with the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Agramonte will lead Disney's diversity, equity and inclusion strategy, Disney said.
