Duplicate a portfolio
Learn how to duplicate a portfolio in Investor—and why it may be a useful step.
Reasons to duplicate a portfolio
By duplicating a portfolio, you can create a hypothetical version of it to see how changes might impact performance without affecting your actual holdings. You may wish to duplicate a portfolio to isolate different aspects of your holdings and track them separately, such as a spouse’s retirement account.
How to duplicate a portfolio
1. Click the Actions button next to the portfolio you wish to duplicate, then select Duplicate Portfolio from the drop-down menu.
2. You’ll then have the option to name your portfolio and decide if you want its contents excluded from your total holdings.
